Yep, works for that too but doesnt really help out much. Its only about a inch or 2 lower then the floorboard. Does make a nice platform to stand on and mess with stuff on top or get a good looking point.

Got some more work done.

One of the exhuast manifold gaskets blew out and its was driving me crazy so I finally went and got some gaskets and changed it. Also picked up a new oil sender to do the oil pressure gauge mod to actually have a working gauge instead of just a dummy light.

So went up to windrock and did a little wheeling this weekend. Not too much carnage. Just a 9" shaft and took out the adjuster so had to rebuild the 9" pretty much back at camp. Keep in mind I drove it 4.5 hrs there. lol Managed to get around 18 mpg on the way up going through the mountains. Not to shabby.

Pics.

Went to a local private 4 wheeling park that had a open ride this past weekend and watched some badass wheeling. The club that own the land and puts it on is the Big Dixie Boggers. Great group of people.

As usual not many pics. Having to much fun.

When I was scrapping all the dirt off and cleaning it up scrapped a little too much rust off one of the lines coming out of the sending unit and it had a pinhole in it so had to get a whole new unit. No big deal. Got a new sender unit/pump assembly for $65 at Advance with a online coupon. New unit in and all cleaned up.

Still got the flanges. There in the back. Put the hubs back on for light wheeling so I just have to turn the **** instead of unbolting the cap and sticking the flange back in and bolting the cap back on. Just easier. Yea I know im lazy.

I still got the flanges in the back in case a hub breaks or I go do some real wheeling some where ill swap them in.

Rig looks good Trevor. What size plate did you use for those bumpers, cause I really like those. Simple but have plenty of angles to give it some definition

The way of sits now probably around 5 grand. If you equal in all the old parts I sold and stuff like that it would be a little less. Still pretty budget compared to a lot of the builds out there.
