Got some more work done.
One of the exhuast manifold gaskets blew out and its was driving me crazy so I finally went and got some gaskets and changed it. Also picked up a new oil sender to do the oil pressure gauge mod to actually have a working gauge instead of just a dummy light.
Old sender
New sender
Resistor you need to jump
Also got my new rear brake brackets put on and made some guessets for them. Hopefully they wont break off this time.
Then made some new motor mounts and trans mount.
Trans mount.
Motor mounts. There bolt on incase I ever want to change something. Lots if pics if anybody wants to try making some.
Passenger side.
Motor plate.
Frame plate
All tacked together.
Welded
Painted and finished ready to go on.
Pic comparing it to stock one that was falling apart.
In place.
Now the drives side.
All tacked together.
Getting a little better at welding. Still learning. lol
Motor plate.
All done.
Going wheeling next weekend at Windrock with a buddy from James Duff so stay tuned for pics/vids.

So went up to windrock and did a little wheeling this weekend. Not too much carnage. Just a 9" shaft and took out the adjuster so had to rebuild the 9" pretty much back at camp. Keep in mind I drove it 4.5 hrs there. lol Managed to get around 18 mpg on the way up going through the mountains. Not to shabby.
Pics.
On the way up in the hammer down lane.
Bottom of Rattle rock
Tearing the 9" apart.
Clear water.
Windmills
2wd Sami
Some pics my buddy Brad with the other Explorer got.

Went to a local private 4 wheeling park that had a open ride this past weekend and watched some badass wheeling. The club that own the land and puts it on is the Big Dixie Boggers. Great group of people.
As usual not many pics. Having to much fun.
My buddies jeep.
First time he took it out with the new steering setup he got. Turned out its junk. Its already pre bent to clear **** and now its really bent.
We got it fixed up though.
Managed to twist off another driveshaft.
Some nice parking at Lowes. People were calling us retarded, saying it was badass, and taking videos.
Better day time pic.
Then on the way to work yesterday the fuel pump decides to give up. Didnt want to drop the tank so got the grinder out and started cutting. Here is what I found. Mud is the devil. lol
When I was scrapping all the dirt off and cleaning it up scrapped a little too much rust off one of the lines coming out of the sending unit and it had a pinhole in it so had to get a whole new unit. No big deal. Got a new sender unit/pump assembly for $65 at Advance with a online coupon. New unit in and all cleaned up.
Made a plate to cover the hole up and easily removable in the future.
Then today got some free 30 spline 300m gears for the Warn hubs from RCV. Cant beat free.
30 spline 300m vs stock 19 spline.
Gears installed and ready to go.
Hubs back on. Now to see how strong they are. They say there just as strong as a drive flange with these gears. We shall see.

Still got the flanges. There in the back. Put the hubs back on for light wheeling so I just have to turn the **** instead of unbolting the cap and sticking the flange back in and bolting the cap back on. Just easier. Yea I know im lazy.
I still got the flanges in the back in case a hub breaks or I go do some real wheeling some where ill swap them in.

Heres some updates to get everybody back up to date.
About ripped the stock bumper off.
So I said ill try making one.
Gussets on the inside.
Got it painted and put on. Its head one with 12 half inch bolts so it shouldnt be going anywhere. Its all 3/16 plate I cut out with a angle grinder. lol
So then needed one for the front so started on one for it. Still havent finished it yet so no finished pics yet.
Then went wheeling at Callalantee in Mountain City, TN with some buddies. Had a blast.
My buddy had a little accident on the big water fall. lol

Pics
I had to crawl up the jeep to hook the winch controller up. Once we flipped the jeep back down couldnt find a way back down. lol
I made it up and out of the waterfall without winching or flipping. lol. Dont think anybody got it on video though. But if I find one ill post it.
Other random pics from other trails.
Night wheeling.
Managed to bend a leaf spring pretty good.
Now got to get some leaf springs swapped in and finish up the front bumper and a few other little things by this coming weekend for the URE trip.
