Well got the front end put back together today so its a true 4x4 again.

Also hand to change out a freeze plug in the block. Got to my buddy shop and it was dripping water like crazy. Almost a steady stream. Realized it was coming from the freeze plug. Got it pulled out and it had a little pinhole in it. At least it was on of the front ones and easy to get to with the body lift on.

Going to go to a benefit show/trail ride next weekend so the new front end will get a test then.

Supercharger even matches your interior. lol

Are you talking about the benefit show/ride out at the flats? I'm planning to come unless something comes up.

I see a d44 and a 9 inch in my very near future. Hopefully they will be strong enough.

True that. I believe the d44 and 9" would be strong enough for 35's. Hope so anyway. Atleast I can get better shafts for the 44.

Had spare fronts but no spare rear didnt think Id ever need a rear. lol

Had somebody meet me at the outpost with one though. So now spare rear axles are going to be kept on there at all times too.

So here was the project for today in between rain showers we had all day.

Optima yellow top.

Got it for a pretty good deal I think. It ended up being $167 out the door. Found a discount code for Advances website for $50 off $200 or more so that helped a ton. Paid for it online with the discount and picked it up in the store about and hour later.

Got it all swapped in and ran new power wires to the alternator and everything. Its a lot cleaner now. Should have seen the mess of wires before. Dont have any good before pics.

Was hoping to get the old rusty rear axle, bearing, and seal changed out today but didnt work out like I had hoped. Supposed to go 4wheelin in tomorrow so I got to get up early and get it all changed up. Going to take it a little easier on it until I get the sas from now on so it will quit breaking stuff. Stay tuned more more pics tomorrow.

Havent had any updates really. Just been driving and wheeling it. Only thing I have done to it recently is changed the air filter, got a spare wheel/tire, and new winch motor since the other quit. BIG changes coming within the next few months.

Picked this up today. Got it all for $130.

Aldo my D.D. Machine doubler kit should be here any day now.

Stay tuned for updates and more wheeling pics. Going wheeling all weekend this coming weekend.

Hey man how's it going. Nice find on the axle. Gonna be sick when you get it installed.
