1993 Ranger 3.0 5spd XLT got it for 900 bucks which isnt too bad.

About a week and a half ago me and my buddy kyle took a adventure out to hillsville pa. A old abandon quarry with TONS of trails around it and a big *** quarry to fish and swim in. Here are some pics from there.

Who said 2wd cant go in mud?

Here are some parts ive bought so far.

Cerwin-Vega 5x7's for the front.
Pioneer 6x8's for the rear.
Cherry Bomb Glasspack.
2-1/4 Turndown.
Sony 10' shallow mount in a box.
14g speaker wire and parts to rewire.
Bedliner for the floor.
Grill.
Taillight.
Console
Headliner and visors.
New leaf spring hangers for front right and left.

Pics of new goodies to come tomorrow.

Eventually this month it will have a rustys 4' suspension lift and my buddies 32' swamper tsl radials.

Let me know i know its a 2wd but for what i had its perfect and i love it and its a blast off road and goes good for what it is and having the 205's the dumb owner put on.

Well havent updated this in a while. Floor is done and looks amazing. All interior except seats are in. Bed is off, Tank is dropped and hangers are hopefully going on tomorrow. Also frame and other parts are painted now to protect them.

Interior is all back in and seats are in too and it looks oem. I need someone help or opinion though....

I just bought a sun pro temp gauge today and plan on getting a oil pressure one too. The thing is i have no clue were to run the lines through the fire wall so there isnt any tight points that can break the lines. I already removed the old temp gauge out of the water neck and have the adapter in.

Also how would i set up the oil psi one?

And for the wiring,do i splice into the dimmer switch power?

UPDATE with out pictures.......

Got a text from my buddy asking me if i wanted to buy his jeep...

Its a 1993 red xj 4 door. 4wd. Auto "sigh 5spd is better" and has 180+ but was maintained and runs A+!

It has a newer radiator, thermostat, waterpump, idler pulley and serp belt.

It has the front doors off, stock wheels and ****,gutted carpet with some holes and a jvc stereo.

So i ask how much and when i got the response i yelled holly ****!

$300 bucks. He got it for free and wants the money for the parts,it drives fine as i drove it a ton recently.

So im going to grab it this week, and the ranger will be my project till around Christmas or spring. And than it will be my dd as the college im going to next august has a off road club and preffers you have a trail rig you can build which is what the jeep will be.

Cause my truck still needs new front leaf mounts, gas tank straps, filler tube, all new shocks. So its going to be down for a while while its built.

Dumbass friend sold it to someone else so ranger is getting fixed. Got me some new leaf mounts from ford today and getting a gas tank strap kit tomorrow and hardware.

With a 93 long bed what is the wheelbase?
