Pitch Black Focus build....

Well the girlfriend and I went out and bought a cheap car for her to start driving. Its a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3, 174,000kms on it.

Got the car for 1000 bucks so we knew we had some parts to fix ( wasnt saftied or etested)

Gonna need ; Front Rotors
Front Pad
Passanger Side Tie-rod
Rear Brake Lines
And a Reverse Bulb

This was what I was told when we bought it as the gentleman had a pre-saftey done on it at a local shop.

After getting it home, got it in the air and took the plastic side skirts off found a hole on both rear rocker panels.....no big deal the cars 9 years old.

Im in the process of fixing them, hopefully will be done and rocker guarded by Monday but I will see.

Also for some reason it doesnt like going into 3rd gear all the time ( its a manual) I either have to go into gear at lower then 1500 or past 5000 rpm. Im thinking maybe the shifter cables are streched , or atleast thats what im hoping.

Started cleaning it up a bit tho, keeping me busy. Got the rear all painted and took all the inner fenders off and painted up in there to, just to try and save it for a few more years cause it doesnt look like its EVER been oiled....which is bad for us living in Canada.

Uploading pics right now....but theres about 30 of them so its gonna be a few.

Yea well nothing is ever easy.

Got the Rockers fixed up yesterday.....what a long day.

Waiting on the Rotors, and front tie-rod.

So after I got it all back together I took it down the road to father investigate this shifting problem.....

It wants to grind going into gear, but if I hold the shifter forward while shifting until i fully let the clutch out it doesnt grind at all. Im thinking it has to be the Cables, its the only thing I can think of.

Any input would be great, maybe something youd like to see done to it or w/e. Will be painting it complete but not right away as getting it on the road is the main goal.
