im surprised that R&P hasn't blown up yet lol. i guess no one's really wheeled that axle though.

i bet money it has more to do with who sets the gears up than how hard its been wheeled.

haha i never once touched the mud with that axle..I wish i did but i tore it all down..

the gears were set by a professional mechanic when I drained the oil there werent any shavings or anything...

Opened the diff. The gears and detroit are in great shape. The pattern on the gears looks fine. Hard to get a good pic of the pattern lol.


Ordered the power steering fittings from PSC. Still need to order the pitman arm and the ballistic brackets. Maybe I'll get those tonight.

It will be just like the rest of the SAS guys. Toyota box and steering shaft made from 12 different vehicles.

so what are you planning other than the swap?? tire size staying the same??

Yes tires are staying the same size. For the stuff I'll be doing 35s should be plenty big.

I will seriously consider it. I wanna do some wheeling on some of that good stuff that test your limits.




updated pics uploading now. Got the RCD out in 2.5 hours. Sucker comes out a lot faster than it goes in lol.

Ordered the brackets from ballistic and also ordered the pitman arm this morning. I'm gonna start cutting the bracketry off the frame tomorrow hopefully.
