Dude, in all seriousness I don't think you should be messing with this stuff. After some of the stuff I've seen before from you do you seriously think you are ready to do something like this? This isn't just a bolt on little thing or welding on shock tabs, this is serious. Unless you are having someone else who has done stuff like this before do it for you/help you do most of it, I don't think you should do it.

I'm not going to say anything else about it, I don't want a huge argument and posts getting deleted and stuff. I said what I had to say and thats it.

dont mind the haters DOWNEY there just jealous they arent SOLID lol
I would look for a 76-79 f-150 front axle though it would be a very simple straight forward swap with coils and stock RA's.

i mean thats going to be awesome if you pull it off man. i would never try anything like that. you got some nutz man. but like everyone else said, just be careful. and that doesn't go for just you. anyone, no matter how good their fab skills are, should be very careful before pulling off something like this.

mistakes and accidents are not on purpose. just make sure that you get everything done correctly before you hit the road, and possibly put others in danger too.

good luck with whatever you end up doing.

I've got a 44hd sitting in my garage right now waiting for the rest of the parts.

You really really should do a coil sprung setup. I want to trade to a ttb ranger just so I can have a more bolt in swap.

If you do have a 44hd, match it with another 8 lug rear. It'll just look goofy otherwise and be a pita with wheels.

You'll have one hell of a learning experience coming your way. I'm just rebuilding and gathering parts and I'm already having second thoughts about how I'm gonna do it.

It probably wont happen since you don't have the skill or knowledge to do this swap.

Don't act like like you know what your doing, Ive heard the horror stories of you calling justin to ask advice on how to change a simple wheel bearing. And the shock tabs on the back axle, are you going to tack the SAS in to drive it somewhere so it can get fully welded?

Find a shop, drop the truck off with the axles and pay someone to do it, or plan B which I would go with is drop it at a dealership and cash for clunker the truck.
