Trevorgalvez's 97 ranger build
Ok thanks. I got my pro comp 5.5 64 inch chevy leaves #13711 and belch shackles for the rear. I also picked up wild horse early bronco coils with the lightest spring rate off of a friend for cheap
Haven't posted in a while but Everything is almost ready to go in. pro comp 5.5 chevy 63 inch leaves with belch 6400 shackles. James duff sas long arms. 7 degree c bushings. james duff sas trace bar bracket. ruff stuff trace bar axle mount. Ruff stuff 8.8 swap kit. youkon 5.13s with full spool in front and master installation kit. James duff bronco 8.8 rear disk swap. I am saving for rev shafts and hydro steering but i can't find a definite answer on if they sell a bigger power steering pump that is a direct bolt on. I will call PSC this week and find out what i need. Has anyone ever had the ranger stock steering box drilled for hydro assist. I heard you can drill out the stock steering pump to increase flow.

And today I was driving to school and my idler pulley seized making the belt fall off and made me lose power steering which also made the water pump stop and made my truck overheat really quick and it blew up the heat control valve which was areadly slightly cracked with a tiny leak. I didn't hear any sounds until i heard the pop and a bunch of smoke from behind the truck since it was 11 degrees f outside. Its all back together and working now. No coolant was frozen.

It finally snowed by my but melted by 2 days later so i decided to start the tear down. made a trans crossmember and bolted the trace bar bracket. Then I finished up the front axle and rolled it into place with the james duff sas arms. Im just waiting for my ruff stuff order for my 7/8 steering. I might have to move the lower coil retainers in a little on each side. Theres a good amount of bow in them.
