The plug nearest the rear output shaft is for the speedo; you wont need it.

Anyone know the part number for the manual shift lever on the Tcase? I have been hunting for it. I need to get a new one.

He should have a shifter assembly. I think he needs the parts that attach the assembly to the t-case.

those guides that hold the shifter linkage in place are broke.

yeah i do, i have everything needed already, just the shifter piece on the tcase itself is not in that good of shape.

Wow man, I had no idea what your were doing. I hardly ever come on here, usually RPS, but I cannot wait to see this truck again. That was a real treat to see you guys in Ga.

Hey Beard there was a guy on explorer forum that was missing that little pin thing that the linkage connects to on the lever on the case itself. He drilled the hole out a little bit and welded a grade 8 bolt through it and used that as the pin. It was a quick fix and apparently worked pretty well for the guy.


Now I think the little pin guide thing is what your saying is broken but I could just be misunderstanding you. If that is what your talking about though that method could be a quick fix for you.

do you have a link>? i might make something but i dont think it will cost much, thanks to maurice for the picture. but i need part number 7335 down in the bottom center.

The 7335 cost me $12.60 shipped for a package of 2 (that is how they come from Ford).

That is the part is bent, not the 7B106 correct?

7B106 is in fine condition, 7335 is broke in 2

One of these nights I will bust out the sand blaster and clean everything up then I will know what I have and dont have.

Well i thought the 7B106 and the 7335 was all one piece at first, i guess it can come apart? who knew... lol

that part was broke on my dads, he got a new part from ford along with a "plug" for the speedometer thing.
