02 ranger 4.0 No Injector pulse

I have a 02 ford ranger edge 4.0 that has no injector pulse. Fuel pressure is 65 lbs. Spark is good. Cranks right up with starting fluid. I even changed the ignition switch and ecm thinking maybe the ecm was the issue. I checked all the injectors and they all check good. I just aint getting a pulse to keep the motor running.

Welcome to the forum

Computer(PCM) is the only thing that can enable or disable injectors

All injectors should have 12volts with key on
12volts is from the PCM Relay in engine fuse box, it also powers the PCM(computer, ECM)

With key on the CEL(check engine light) should come on, this means PCM has booted up
When you are cranking over the engine the CEL should go OFF, that means PCM is seeing a timing pulse from the Crank position sensor and will start spark first, and then start injectors 1 or 2 seconds later

So if engine starts by adding fuel manually then PCM is getting timing pulse so spark is on, and CEL should go off when cranking

PCM does have PATS(passive anti-theft system) it will disable fuel injectors if activated, there is usually a flashing "lock light" on the dash if that happens
No work around for that, even new PCM wouldn't help
The PCM needs to see correct key in the ignition before it will start fuel injectors
