In my mind, a request goes out at night, hoping that all my "FRIENDS" get a good nights sleep..

I dont know about you, but i have made friends on this site, good friends...

Your tone and demeanor were dimissive and RIDUCULING of what the owners had done. You didn't simply ask for change, you were insulting and judgemental and acted like they must be incompetent to have done things the way they did, citing your vast experience as a site administrator -- only this isn't YOUR site.

SIMPLY posting that you didn't like it would have been fine. But your WAY of saying it was WRONG.

But, since you seem to speak in those terms I shall speak to you in your language: I think you were a ******** and you ought to just shutup because you're making a further *** of yourself. Take what was given you for free and POLITELY disagree or close you hole. Hopefully that's in language you LIKE and UNDERSTAND since you talk that way. But, I'm sure you're much less happy when you receive it, than you are to give it.

ExtremePC, I'm not pissed; there was NOTHING to be pissed about. I was a little..."perplexed"...as to why my name and my name only was used, when there were a dozen others with the big avatar. However, I don't suddenly hate you; you're still allright with me, I like your truck, and I know you from RPS and a few other sites. So no, I'm not going to lose any sleep over the fact that you think avatars are too big. We're cool, in other words. :)

Leo and I joke towards each other a LOT if you didn't already notice, so if you see it popping up in another thread (you will, trust me ) don't suddenly conclude that everyone here is a dipshit.

And I never said I was a professional web designer or anything nor stated that I had a "vast" web designing experience. But I do know some things. Do not underestimate that.

eXtremePC: I believe what John is referring to is when you said "I used to be a webmaster myself and I guess it is just driving me a little nuts." The term "webmaster" carries a connotation with it. That you have studied the required matieral and passed a certification. Unless it is ones profession they most likely wont go thru all that. Ergo by saying you were a webmaster you (at least) implied that you were a professional web designer at some point in time. I'm not taking sides, I'm not trying to bash you or anything. I'm just saying for me personally when I read what you said I took it as you saying you were an official webmaster and all your training gave you the grounds to say this site looks like ****.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course. I think if people had started off by saying "Christian (or whoever) is there a way I can change the design of the forum for me? Because this is way too much blue and the avatars are too large for me." Christian (or whoever) would have said "Yeah you can go to this place and change your options." Instead it was "Why did you change this? WTF is your problem? Everything was fine then you just HAD to change it. First of all it's too blue and the avatar sizes for those who contribute are too huge. You suck!" Or at least it came off like that.

I'm not a fan of drama and I run from it every chance I can but geez people. This has gotten way out of control and as John said, it's a human thing not an internet thing...please let's close this thread, breathe, put our pride behind us and move on as adults....
