What one considers offensive anothe might not. We need to act like men if we claim to be them. Petty differences on the internet is nothing to get banned over imo.

D. asked to be removed as well.

When D. left 50% or more of the lowered/high performance information left with him.

When lifted97ranger and Trepaul left I would say 40% of the custom fab work/lifted information left as well.

All I know is lets keep getting the people that were banned on the list. I want to see how big this grows.

trepaul was warned a so many times, I banned him myself the first 3 times, he was back on for a whole 2 days, the guy cant control himself. I tried to talk to him and help him, i cant stand up for him when he just repeats it over and over again.

I know fireranger went over board, he may not agree with that but i saw it, i saw the things he was saying and posting when he was asked not to do it. For some reason he felt he needed to.

Thesoundmaster, great guy, never really heard any thing from him until that one time, he went off, now if he wants to come back he needs to discuss that with Rick or myself and we will see what we can do. I am not 100% sure the details behind his banning, That was a while ago.

I banned D for 10 days for calling everyone ni**ers in this rant thread he started one morning, 10 freaking days, the guy flipped a lid, and asked to be removed. Not that much talent in the lowered department left, most people dont even know D.

Lifted97ranger choose to argue with fireranger all the time, if you remember that is all he did. 40%? That is pretty rough... there is a ton of tech guys here. Is Maurice a good guy? yeah seems to be in person, but he need to learn to do that online too.

Trepaul, as I described above, I had great respect for the guy, he knew a ton, was a great asset, but he cant control himself either.

I mean seriously these guys needed to grow up. I have never had to deal with adults like this before, its pretty sad.

 

I agree, but I cant be on both sides of the fence, when i get 15-20 people complaining about a member or that member is constantly breaking the rules they either need to shape up or leave. its life, you have to follow the rules.

Maurice was a good friend of mine, so was D, and I think trepaul was as well, never met him but i enjoyed conversation with him.

 

he thought he knew anything and everything but if someone would call him out he could never come up with an answer he would just get all pissed off and say stupid crap. im glad hes gone yeah his project was cool but he was an a$$hole

 

i wouldn't say 40% of the lifted/custom tech left with those 2 guys.. they had bolt on suspension kits. thats hardly THAT much tech. Nothing against Tre, just sayin.

You can see intelligence from the way a person acts in a tough situation. These guys may have had decent info, but if they can't control themselves they are just an some joker off the street.

You say all this info is lost on fabbing and lifted trucks? What about people like zabeard? What about google? What about reading a book?(as difficult as it is now) The information is not lost, but you may have to work for it. (Again difficult for some).

im not trying to im saying 100% fact. thats the reason he called everyone ni**ers that day because someone called him out and he was wrong and couldnt take it. IIRC

 

You've lost some of the best people from the past due to the way some of the "new" people have acted.....the real talent is LONG gone due to the immature useless crap that was posted by some of these banned people.
Tom Barcia, John Griggs...that was REAL talent and info.....

Beard, from what i heard you were sleeping when "**** hit the fan" and that Matt was never told not to do those "things" but im not getting involved, just stating what i have heard from him personally.

 

Carl, John bit off more than he could chew on here when he tried making the e-fan controllers and he ran into some problems. He's also had alot happen with work and personal things, since then he was only back briefly. This is my understanding from talking with him. I'm not sure why Tom fell out, but he was never really that active on the site that I can remember from 2006 on.

I know John was looking to sell his truck, he may have done it by now...

They were both talented and great guys on this site, I miss wheeling with them.

 

its nice around here lately without all the hostility and petty childish BS that was constantly spewing from most of those that are now banned. granted a few of them had alot to offer, but from what i experienced here, as well as other forums they belong/ ed to that i am also a part of, they aften caused much more drama and fighting than anything else. that kind of crap is just not needed and most of them had many warnings before they were banned.

im gonna keep my opinions to myself about people getting banned b/c i never saw any of the threads that got them banned therefore i do not feel i have enough information to speak about who should have been banned and who shouldn't. but i have a bad feeling that this thread is going to get locked or atleast need some cleaning everyonce in a while. R-F is a pretty tight knit group where people are friends and do stick up for eachother and that is what i like about it here.

If this thread does need to be locked later down the road, mods, do you think you could please keep it updated so we can at least see if we are trying to find someone who is banned and therefore unreachable?

i like the idea for this thread i just feel it has alot of potential for getting ugly and im worried more people will get upset and say some things they might regret...

I saw it with my own two eyes, I was up several nights much longer than normal, getting phone calls from people. I know what happened and what went down. I am fine with it. Those people need to learn to control themselves and respect people. Once they find that out they will learn they can hang around places they used to get kicked out.

there really is no reason this thread should be locked or deleted, unless you guys start arguing it with me. I am telling my side of the story, believe it if you want I dont care but go bashing around and telling lies isnt going to get you any where. Being mad about it wont either. Good friends or not you need to realize people change, and they change all the time. People come and go, other people fill in the talent.

Just like Griggs, the guy was smart but if you tried to prove him wrong he literally flipped a lid. Nice guy but again, got over his head and now look at him, no longer active.

People come and go, its not like everyone is going to be here in 5 years, it changes daily.

 

a while back, he was cocking off to Rick, making comments here and there across the board. people read it. he knew exactly what he was doing.
