DNS Again?

I've had some problems lately and now Alon is paging me saying he cannot find the site. Hes on Quest DSL, I'm on a level3 connection.. I wonder if Dave ( FMD ) has had any problems lately?

Anyone else?

i had problems all the time when i had cable but on dsl it works perfect

Its a variation in DNS feeds/propagation. Its not unncommon and happens in cycles of ' updates '. I'm just wondering if this site has a static IP or if its just a ' hosted domain ' on a box/farm that variates.

I haven't had time to look into it. But, I can tell D that it's not a static IP, it's on a farm that is on the same IP. The IP we've been on here hasn't changed since we've been on it. I'll see if I can get in touch with Brian.

Also, I've had both cable and DSL, and I'm also on a T-1, and a variety of other networks, and I've never had any problems. But, again, I'll get in touch with Brian and see if we can figure something out.

yeah i really have no idea what changed but i can tell you that comcast really sucked for the last week or so we had it... r-f and espn worked 70% of the time and google never worked

What's weird about this is The Planet does the DNS. So I'm not sure why there'd be so many problems. Either way, it's known, and we're working on a solution to it. I'll keep you guys updated.
