Is this 2013 "Stealth" black and white the only option allowed? It's the only choice the drop down will allow down at the bottom.

I just find it dreary and the contrast a little difficult to read. I"d prefer something a little easier on the eyes.

 

It does make it a little hard to read.I have to put on my reading glasses to make it better.
I would much prefer,a white background with black letters.

IB is in the process of switching to a newer format. Progress is slow with them sadly.

 

Well at least it's something to look forward to. :)

I thought the "office",guys were working on a white format ?
I think RF is getting a little more traffic,because of the "other",forums problems.
I know i've been coming her more. That sample of the white was great.
Why can't you give us a choice,between white and dark.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed it hasn't happened yet too. I'd probably be here more if it wasn't so god awful hard on my eyes to read. But I know from past experience changing over a forum to a new format takes time to transfer over everything. Evidently this one just doesn't have the option which is kind of strange to me that would be but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

 

The "other site",has it,had it long time.They give you 2 to chose from.

The guy that started this site is long gone, but he was a true Ranger enthusiast involved in the community. The site is now owned by Internet Brands and they are not involved in the community at all. They are a forum business and own a ton of forums. RF is low priority because of it's traffic levels. The do not get in a hurry and you are unlikely to see the new format any time soon. They have the know how but like I said, priorities. Back when I had a more control over the site we did have two color options, but IB has deprecated the lighter colored theme and I no longer have that level of control over things so I can't make the white theme accessible to you guys myself. We just have to wait.

 

I hate to have to suggest this, but if the site is hard to read, I suggest taking your mouse and left clicking near what you're reading and "highlight" the words. This will put a blue background around the words, and the words will turn white.
