there are 2wd members on here all you need to do is ask and people will answer. i can think of a good handful that would reply and many more.

ask away.

another place would be rangerpowersports.com but they are kinda different over there and i hate to see you leave.

I don't know a damn thing about lowering but I will be glad to talk with you about it . Well maybe I'm learning a little ; you could put an explorer axle in the back to lower it gaining disc brakes and 31 spline axles. Use the search. There's a lot of good info there . If you want to talk ; we're here.

this is a great site and for the most part the people are cool
everyone will try to help you with your questions on lowering your Ranger
the site does lean towards lifted rather than lowered trucks though

for the most information on lowered Rangers you should visit Ranger Power Sports - RPS
http://www.rangerpowersports.com/

good luck and stick around here still
no reason why you can not cruise two or three Ranger sites
this is the best and most friendly one though!!!

how will we ever get lowered members to be active here, and make great tech how-to's, etc, if we're always referring to other sites?

maybe he can learn something there and bring it back here
you do see I where I advised sticking around this site, right?
besides he will have to tread gently as a newbie on RPS or be run out of town

can't we all just get along share the knowledge and give proper advise when asked?
stop being so defensive - this is not a D Holley thread

lol oh play nice fellas

Lots of members who had some of the tallest lifted trucks are now beginning to lower them. We'll have a good pool of lowered/bagged knowledge here pretty soon! And if you've got questions, well please answer them! I know my own truck is going to be lifted, but I think bagged trucks are pretty sweet too, and being an engineer I always want to learn about how that sort of stuff works, so I'll be learning right there with ya!

SlickRick.....

If you ever need to know any performance lowering things, I'm your guy. I race, not professionally, but enough with my Ranger to give you some general do's/don'ts about the stuff....

D. is another VERY knowledgeable member on Perf. Lowering....

And I agree with Christian 100%. RPS is awesome....RPS is home to me....BUT, we need to keep whatever members over here we can. If someone has a lowered truck, I really don't think it's wise for the welfare of THIS site to always refer them elsewhere. Otherwise, we'll never have a reasonable lowered crowd and R-F will be YET ANOTHER lifted site......

But yeah dude.....Welcome to R-F.....

And hit me up if you need anything.

Just what John said. Trs is a great resourse. So is this place. Stay here, we do have active members who are 2 wheel drivers. but, ALOT of stuff here, other then suspension, applies to your truck....performance, interior, exterior, maintence....just alot of stuff. My little brother is a 2 wheel peeeel, and he's somewhat active.

Johns the man, he hook you up with info.

Man, you all really don't like RPS do you?

zabeard: We're "different" over at RPS? You make it sound like we've got a disease or something...

park ranger: We don't run newbies out...so long as they're not stupid.

redneckstone: I've asked plenty of questions, and haven't died yet. Just use your head when posting, don't ask questions that's been covered many times, and you'll be alright.

Not trying to start an argument with anybody, just clearing up some BAD misconceptions about RPS.

To the poster: RPS is FULL of lowered trucks, and the guys over there really know their stuff. (Yes RPS is a more lowered-oriented site). I'm positive they'll be able to answer your questions. HOWEVER don't surf just one Ranger site, I visit RPS and R-F daily. TRS every once in a while. ORR sucks. I don't even like to say GBO.

we aren't going to be bashing any of them on R-F...

ORR does not suck, btw

I will have to agree with everyone BUT you... I felt very unwelcome on RPS even when I introduced myself. All of the technicality BS on that site is what gives them a bad name. If you dont post something just right, you are criticized until you are forced to leave... I have been asked to be on every forum that I belong to, and this is the ONLY one that doesnt criticize people away!!!

I have a supercharged lowered 4WD!!! Yea I hear a lot of crap about it, but you know what, after they see what it can do, everyone changes their opinion about it...

Not bashing, just stating facts... Everyone has an opinion and an arsehole, cant tell which is which...

GBO is Generation Blue Oval. I am not sure about STR..

IMO, ranger-forums is the best ranger dedicated ranger site..
