Maybe I wasn't too clear on my opinion on it.... I like everything except the left of post garbage. Mostly due to the fact this place was really unique in regards to avatars, and having those uniquely large avatars and having them on the left side makes the pages really odd and quite frankly, ugly looking, something that I don't even like over on the other forums when screen names are longer than others. Sure there's little things like font colors, etc, but those are mute points and easy changes down the road and really aren't that big of a deal.

I do notice the general theme is ALOT different than RPS or TRS. The shading on the borders, the buttons, etc. I just would really like to see our avatar/info stuff above the posts like they used to be. Overall, I like the changes except for the left of post garbage. I would like to see us back at a blue theme like before, but I can deal with the white. I do understand it's a learning curve and this theme was just implemented today...tons of little tweaks everywhere will be done, that's not that big of a deal...people shouldn't go nuts over the little stuff.....people....think of the big picture. Change is good, but IMO, it's BIG change.

ya I just read the whole thread seen twice about old style in CP.. didnt find it then read about in the corner.. dont see that... either I am blind or idk...

Hang in there Zach. The site looks neat and tidy. Whatever you decide to do with it, I support your decisions..

I am the first person to agree that change is good! The logo's and buttons and everything look much better! BUT!! like everybody else i think the avatar/sidebar thing out of whack is weetarded, and I cant handle this white screen, its killing my eyes.
I know you will get things sorted out but just wanted to add my opinion.

 

i just switched it back to the old style, much better... i got lost in the new style

It is resizing the avatar size to something other than what it is uploaded at. My new avatar should be 150x300, but is coming up about half the size.

 

its at the bottom left of the screen. i have got it to work now.

Forgot to mention: I LOVE the top bar...the logos the picture...really do like it alot.

Couple pages back Beard announced that he had to change contrib avatar size to something alot smaller....

why yes you can sit, the font that has our info below the avatar is small but ok cause its not a huge deal but the stuff up in the column below your truck pic is is quite small, where it says what part of the forum your in??
