New Rule To Be Added...

If you are posting something that you have to title "NSFW" or "NWS" it doesn't need to be posted in the first place.

this website is supposed to be the knid of site you can have opened up in front of your wife/girlfriend/at work/in the kitchen/etc...

so, expect to see "nsfw" type threads archived. multiple offenses will result in a temporary ban.

this is not to get more people reporting threads and tattling on members for threads, but so that members will just post responsibly in the first place.

I just see the site always slowly moving towards how so many other sites operate; with flaming, profanity, inappropriate images and links and this is one of the first of many (if needed) steps in keeping Ranger-Forums a 'premiere' site that is work/family 'compatible'. Nothing about Ranger-Forums should be something that could get you in trouble for opening at home or at work and for the most part should never be something that would offend most of our wives/mothers/etc...

That's the gauge I work off of. I don't see the need for it here.

In addition, when I modify the rules when I get around to it: No Profanity In Thread Titles.

Threads don't need to be titled "Stupid Mother ******* People" or "Dumb *******" or anything that get's asterixed. That also goes for 'damn' and '***'. If you wouldn't say the word in church, it doesn't need to be in your thread title and if you'd still say some of those words in church or don't care about church you still don't get to! ;-)
