PM E-mail

Why does it take several days to get an e-mail about a PM? I used to get them almost instantly, but now I have been getting them a couple days after I get the PM and I don't know I need to long in and respond.

Just wondering...

You probably haven't set it up. You have to click yes to receive emails about PM's.

If you aren't receiving them, they are probably getting snagged by a spam filter. If you are receiving them late, that is likely the fault of your email provider being slow. In any case, the e-mails are sent instantly and everyone who gets them, gets them instantly.

Mine is AOL. I never had a problem with it before the last month or so.

Any updates? Kinda weird. I got some e-mails about PM's from Zach right away, and then I got some from ChevySlayer 2-3days later.

I am sure its DNS, I dont have rights to change that. AOL requires a reverse DNS entry to accept email from it. Its kinda like their 'spam filter'. I know that is part of it. also AOL wants email servers to be set a certain way. let me look into it. i am bored tonight anyway.

I think I already found the answer.

We are with this current host until April because I paid for 4 months. I may move it because I am not 100% satisfied. Lets wait it out until then. If we dont move then I will try to resolve it. If we do move then its a whole new battle.
