I am looking for some feedback on this issue.

First off, if you were a contributor at one time and it expired why didn't you renew? Too Expensive? Not enough benefit? Forgot?

If you renew every year do you feel its worth it?

Also incase you were wondering the funds used from Site Contributors goes to hosting the site on the server.

I am looking at different servers and trying to weigh out the options. I want some member feedback.

Its $15 a year.

 

I feel like its worth every penny. Just for the larger avatar I would pay the $15.

If you are on the site every day its $.04 a day which is nothing.

All I know is that as long as I am a member here I will always be a contributor.

To all the people that spend alot of time here and are not a contributor I would reconsider. I mean $15 is that much money. Your money will go a long way.

You used to. There is a sticker thread, I believe they are 2 for $10 shipped.

I just think of it as another mod to my truck.

 

I LOVE this place. Love the bonuses of being a contrib. I'm unsure if we've changed this....but do we get an email when our year is about up??

it's a no, and lets try and keep stickers w/ contruibuter out of this thread. its pretty much done and over with. The proceeds from the decals go to running the site....so go! search for that sticker thread Beard posted up.

 

Yes stickers are a separate item. It is easier to keep separate because of addresses.

btw if you are contributor you also get in on giveaways, which we need to have one again!

i contributed when i signed up, and i think i just renewed not too long ago.

i like the giveaways around christmas time from r-f vendors. plus, they give us awesome discounts for being members. you have to give a little before you expect to receive right?

aside from the drama, i think this forum is very helpful, and would probably pay even if it wasn't optional. i mean AllData is about $16 a year i think, and i can get all that info here.

 

I just became one after reading some of the server problems we were having. The wealth of knowledge i have gained from here was definately worth the asking contribution. Thanks for providing me with this site, its been fun.

Come on guys, if youre not a contributor and youre on here often enough, step up and give until it hurts, your salvation is waiting!

 

I contribute because the wealth of knowledge on this site is worth way more than $15. As long as I have my ranger I will remain a contributor. The only time it would run out would be when my year is up and I didn't catch it.

I am a contributer here and on RPS. I am am both sites everyday (not so much RPS anymore). I am here all the time and $15 a year... come on. I have $15 in change sitting right here next to me. Even after I get my next vehicle I will stay on here and continue to pay the $15 a year even though I don't own a ranger.

For me it's not the amount of money it is... it's the way you have to pay it.

I don't have PayPal... heck, I don't even have a credit card, bank card or debit card.

All I got is cash. lol

send me a PM. I will update your status if you send me a money order. Also in that money order if you want stickers add the amount of the Contributor and I will send the stickers. That only works for Money Orders. If you do paypal the payment for stickers and site contributor is different.

 

I have been a contributer since the first day i joined.. This site got me was a major factor in getting me through my depoloyment with a little less stress.. Every time i needed to get away from everything, I would log on here, and it was like everything around me had just gone away.. i know that sounds stupid, but it really did help.. ****, to this day, i am on here ATLEAST 3-4 hours a day throught the day.. It makes me feel conected to back home..

So, i will always be a contributer..
