Thats true, it says unlimited bandwith but that probably means in general, I think 6$/month unlimitd bandwith is like a stream, there's unlimited water that will keep coming, but if too much water comes down at once it will over flow (server will crash/ not handle all at once) whereas a more expensive server (how much is what Im wondering) is more like a river below a dam, and when the dam is let open all of that water flows down the river and the canal is built for all of that water, so it wont overflow.

Zabeard, About What does it cost to run the site? Seams like there's a good amount of contributors x $15 each. On this thread alone I counted over 30 contributors, that's $450 for a year, and there has got to be more contributors on the site right? Im just curious because as far as a server to store files and allow access to them, the 6$ a month seems to fit that need. I will be happy to contribute If I am aware of the costs that our money is going towards, kind of like a receipt in a way.

well we have raised a good bit of money, we are now on the new server. as always we appreciate the member support. I dont know that I meant to talk everyone into contributing but seems the thread has moved that way some. this is all your choice to upgrade not asking or making anyone do it.

Im confused. It says $15 on this thread. $12 here https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ead.php?t=2791 and $10 in the user cp. Which is it?
I upgraded to contributor a couple weeks ago. ...and since then, I've become much more popular, been out on more dates, and I was even able to -- sorry, dang cell phone... oops... booty call. gotta go
