i can still change it but i wanted to use something i found at the auto show. the size is within limits (3.2mbs) but i'm not sure of the pixels. everytime i try and upload it, it takes a while and comes back with a failed upload.

any help?

 

no clue. i just upload fullsize pics i have saved on my cpmputer and it resizes them and whatnot.

 

that's what i thought would happen. but for some reason it's only these ones taken at the autoshow with my canon powershot.

 

I have the same problem.....ish. Only difference with mine is not matter what pics i chose it will not show it at all.

 

Pretty sure the size limitation for avatars are as follows:

And that's for Contributors. For non Contributors, I'm pretty sure it's 100x100. I'd guess the size limitation may be 75kb still. It should say that right on the Avatar page. I don't know of any auto resizing and 3.2 MB is way too big for an avatar.

Just google photo resizing and go to any page that allows custom dimensions. Resize it to 100x100 and then try and upload it again.

 

It might only do the resize thing for contributors.

i had mine way too big, before they changed the size restrictions, and it re-sized mine, i've only become a contributer in the past 3 weeks ish...

i think i am able to, but i'm too lazy to put a new one in... when i get the truck back, i'll put a pic of her nose job, 05 edge DSG bumper, 05 STX grill, suround DSG, center black, 2 toned hood :D, hopefully i'll get my fogs mounted in my grill before too long and get the vallence off
