I have been to many other forums for many other vehicles, electronics and items and I just wanted to say thanks to Christian and anyone else who makes the executive decisions on the content of R-F.

I don't know what I would do if this site was cluttered with
-Every other word being a hotlink to a site selling me something
-"Adds by Google" taking up the left and right margins
- No organization to any of the forums ( mixing off topic with tech and sales is thread vomit)
-unregulated vendors
... I could go on an on but the idea is that Damn I appreciate this place so much more when I try and step outside of it.

I agree, this is one of the only forums im on that i agree with everyone of the mods decisions. I don't think i have ever seen spam in here. Keep on with the great site!!!!!

 

I'm on many other forums as well, this is about the only one i participate in because i love this place so much as well.

Count me in on the many thanks to the Admins/Mods. You guys are great! The members are great! The content is great!

This forum is the reason I've done what I have to my truck (and also why I'm in the doghouse, wife says I'm spending too much time on here and too much money on the truck!) I tried a few of the other ranger forums before I found R-F, but never got past registering before I realized they offered nowhere near the good advice and know-how that I've found here.

I have to agree that this is one of the cleanest forums on the net. If you want to see advertising spam run amok, check out Ford Truck World sometime. Every available space is now crammed with ads or animated junk.

Yes, i agree this is one of the best kept and organized forums i have ever belonged too. All the admins do a great job and the site is kept very nice, sites like this i enjoy contributing money to, for all of the great effort and time that goes into it. Keep up the good work!

 

Great job to the mods. This site is really run well like everyone else has said. I spend time on several other boards but this is the only one I really post on anymore.

I'll agree that this is one of the best run forums I've be on, that's what made me decide to become a contributor. Thanks to all the mods for a job well done.

 

Let's see here...5,353 members. 15 dollars for contributor status. If they were all contributors that would be $80, 295

If half were contributors that would be $40, 147

If 1/4th were contributors that would be $20, 073

Now I have no idea how many members are actually contributors but there is no way in hell we should need ads on the site.

Nevertheless...not having ads isn't the only thing that makes this site so great. The admins/mods and members can't be beat!
