I just put lt225/75/r16 on visions soft 8 16x8 (witch looks amazing ) and I love the big tire look on the stock set up but is it worth it to body lift it just a little to get the fender a little higher of the tire. It's also a flat bed with air shocks so I can lift the back end up off the tire ( best purchase ).

 

Mine isnt actually a body lift, but I really like the 3in lift on my truck. I just did a 3 in. Spindle lift on the front with and add a leaf and a one inch block in the rear. Looks great and truck is level. Can still use original shocks but I use monroe shocks for an explorer. Hope this helps.

 

Body lifts are a great economical way to lift your truck without modifying the suspension, but your tire size may not be adequate for a 3"lift.
