i bought something a while back off ebay. never got it. filed a claim with paypal. was awarded in my favor. i only received about half my payment back because that was all the guy had in his paypal account. that was 2-3 years ago. the claim is still open even though he no longer has a paypal account.

if you paid by credit card, go to them.

If you want your money back that's what you need to do. Of course it's your choice.

I believe we have been made aware of that "scam." We don't condone that type of behavior here though.

10-4 gotcha. Just thought they wanted their money back. My mistake. But what btm757 showed is o.k.? Just to make sure what is acceptable or not. Maybe then, btm757's answer is the way to go!! sorry.

What someone does outside this forum is up to them. Somehow I think you already know the answer.

Tell them you bought something online through PayPal and you never received the merchandise or even a tracking number. Let them know you have tried to contact the seller and PayPal multiple times for a refund, but you have not had any luck. Ask for a, "chargeback." Some companies will take care of it right then and others take a couple days.

Well on my statement it says:
PAYPAL *CSILVA88
MasterCard Return Item

So...? I'm not sure how to translate that really, it says Paypal CSILVA and Mastercard...all in the same entry haha

Glad you got your Refund!
so, you going to do anymore buying from people online???
It would seem that if this had happened to me, I'd never trust anyone that I did not personally know, to send me an item after sending them the money for it.

Just bought two lil things from two guys over on TRS and I ordered gears and a master install kit (since this diff never came thro...rebuilding what I have a guess) from wayne hartwig on Pirate 4x4. I have had more good experiences then bad experiences. I haven't lost hope in the Ranger Brotherhood just yet haha

I've had some bad experiences before, some quite costly. Hasn't stopped me from buying and selling on the Internet though. In the end, I've saved and made much more than I have lost. Just part of it.

He hasn't made a post since 1/5/2011 anyway. I'd say it's safe to say he won't either. Would you?
