When i had first bought my ranger i wanted to make it my own, so i bought some headlights. After owning them for about 2-3 months i wanted to give my honest opinion.

The CG Drl Bar headlights are some of my favorite headlights i have seen on any car. They stand out and really make the ranger pop. The simple plug and play design makes them very easy to install. They arent the brightest headlights however, but paired with the fog lights its perfectly fine.

The only problem ive had with them is they were flickering for awhile. More specifically the daytime running lights would flicker and would not stop. I found that they had made the connector underneath this little dust cover faulty and it did not stay connected. I decided everytime it happened to just simply open the hood, push the connector together, and go about my day. DONT DO THAT! This weekend i had enough of messing with it and took the dust boot off to investigate. The way the headlights were made is that instead of the main headlight wiring connecting to the whole backing itself, it connected to a seperate connector and wiring which then connected to the headlights. That extra hookup was its downfall. It was not secure, thats why i had to push it back in place everytime, and when i inspected it i found that since i had kept pushing it back instead of fixing it it had melted part of the extra connector and made them flicker. I simply removed the extra unneeded hookup which was not melted, took the dust boot off and put it on the rangers oem wiring, and reattached the wiring to the headlight. So far i havent had any flickering since, very simple fix.

All in all i love these headlights. I love the way they look and make the ranger stand out. This problem i encountered was probably un common so i wouldnt worry about it to much. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.
