Christys Auto Parts, supposedly in Salisbury, N.C., is a total SCAM! I recently had to replace my right front hub assy, and the pulse vacuum hub lock was bad. Being unemployed I cant afford a new one so I posted what I needed on the nationwide parts locator service for a used one. Well Shane Mauldin, 704-209-1309, called and told me he had the part for $65.Deal! that was March 23 2011. Told me he would mail it that same day if I paid paypal before 3:00pm EDT. Did that. 4 days later NO part! I called the number 4 times Saturday, March 26,2011, nothing! So I called paypal, NO Tracking #. March 28 2011 , Shane Mauldin called wanting his money, was told by paypal, He could acc his $65 when I called paypal to verify reciept of the part! Told me he fprgot to mail it! NOTHING! Now Im out of $65 no part and cannot use my Ranger! Missed 1 helluva job interview because of this!the other phone number is 704-209-6303

 

That's crazy ... Report them to BBB and post a review of them on Ripoff.com

 

um... how can't you use your ranger without a hub? u just wont have 4x4...

i've driven with a paper towel shoved in behind the center cap

 

Take the whole assembly off, put some weight in the opposite end of the truck, and drive with 3 wheels! lol (My grandpas done it before)

 

If he didn'tcollect the funds from Paypal because you needed to verify receipt of the part, cancel the Paypal transaction and have them refund the money to the credit card or bank account it was drawn on. You can't be out the $65.00 if the seller hasn"t collected the money. PayPal won't keep your money.
