Engine stalls, PCM relay clicking
#1
Intermittent stalling, trouble codes 300 340 500
UPDATED POST: I have a 98 2.5L 5speed manual. It is stalling intermittently while slowing to a stop, around corners, and at low idle. When it stalls I get a clicking on the fuel pump relay, and I can hear clicking inside the fuel tank. The engine will turn over, but won't fire. If I wait for a minute or so, it will start up. Or if I pull and reinsert the relay it starts. The fuel pump has over 300,000 miles. The codes 300, 340, 501 are for cam position sensor, vehicle speed sensor, and engine misfire. I've reset the inertia switch, the fuel pump relay and pcm relays are working, and both test 12 V at the socket.

AC Clutch relay(ACCR) is connected to PCM relay directly, pull out ACCR relay and see if problem stops
PCM relay is activated by the ignition switch under the steering column.
Battery"+"----------50amp fuse(engine fuse box)---------ignition switch----fuse 19(cab fuse box)------PCM Diode(engine fuse box)------PCM Relay----ground
PCM relay "clicking" means it isn't getting full 12v or full ground, check Fuse 19 and PCM Diode for clean connections
Look into the PCM relays socket
Look at the first PCM relay for marks on the pins, like arcing marks, bad connections
