Ok, i'm not sure what the 'technical' term is.. he told me a few times but i forgot.

We just did it for ****z and giggles, he told me there was a TSB for that motor to do this about half way doing it.. so even better of a reason to do it.. for carbon build up or something.

I think the tick on a 4.0 is a common problem?


But i've had a wicked tick for the last like 3 years, we did this and BAM! GONE! its got a little tick still, but i may just be paranoid confusing it with the injectors.


GONE!! I no longer have the loud ticking truck at the stop light anymore!

GONE GONE GONE! I'm happy, maybe its because today was beautiful, i got to weld, i have a winch on my truck, i finally got to play with my torch some more? all around GREAT day!

do you need to change your plugs or anything like that after? my truck seems really tired now and ive heard good things about this stuff

 

i haven't changed didley.. the truck is still a dog, but it does seem to idle smoother and it doesn't have that annoying tick.

It was comical when he hit the gas pedal hard on the highway. You would of thought it was the redneck james bond trying to get away from the bad guys. Solid smoke trail for a few seconds.

My tick is kinda back, when i get paid again Friday I'm gonna order 2 more cans and then change my oil.

I was really happy when it was 100% gone, but now its kinda sorta back. Idk where i can run my truck all out around here, its not like your place where i can jet straight onto the highway.
