Has anybody tried Spaz-stiz Chrome spray paint?

Here's the product listing on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Mirror-Chrome-Le...QQcmdZViewItem

I'm looking to use chrome paint to fix up my fog lights; mud got in and wore down the paint. I tried repainting them with Duplicolor's chrome spray paint, but that stuff is crap and not like chrome at all. I'm hoping somebody can tell me if this Spaz-stiz is good or not so I don't waste any more money.

That looks pretty good to me. But I remember when I worked at a paint store that it was 230$ for a pint of chrome spray paint.

None the less, 10 bucks with shipping(i didnt look just guessing) is cheap enough that you may find something pretty sweet on your hands! Cause a chrome bezel may be pretty wicked.

Thanks for posting up those pics Aaron, I couldn't find any. And that's scarey cause we just thought alike there on the bezel.

I think I'll pick some up, and I'll post up the results Maurice.

Unless you've got the money to spend, I'd leave that up to the pros. Because of the reflectiveness, any mistakes would be quite visible.

It's going to be a while before I'm able to purchase this stuff. Just blew the money I was going to use for it x4 on a much needed, new cell phone.

If you've ever painted a clear RC body you will notice from the inside the paint is flat, only the clear lexan body creates the shine like clear coat over a base paint which usually is flat. How this paint takes to a clear coat would be the main concern. I've put clear over the other chrome paints on the market & they always turn a greyish color after clear coat.

This stuff would be good for fixing emblems too. I know every time I tried to remove the clear plastic part from the backing oval to change the background color, the glue holding them together would pull some of the chrome from the lettering this stuff could put the chrome back.
