Is there any risk of the light sliding out and having fun with your feet while driving??

No, I doubt it will come out. I had a buddy see what he thought of the mount. I asked him to pull it out and he had trouble. It isn't super snug but just right. It won't just slide out without deliberately being pulled out. The flashlight is pretty long and for the whole thing to come out would take a lot of work. Once I get my bracket/mount (for the Ranger) and I hit a few long rough trails I'll have a final verdit, first impression is good product that will hold the light in place. Shane, I say you should order one from Alon and see for yourself how nicely it holds it. The rubber stuff on the inside of the tube also helps out a lot.

 

I got my new mount in the mail yesterday and it fits perfectly! Super fast shipping I got it in 2 days! Alon did an excellent job of taking care of the problem and a very quick response! Here are some pictures of the new mount.
