would you guys say that the added performance is worth paying for higher grade gas?

i cant speek for them, but you can get 87 octane settings, and u still get a nice performance upgrade. plus all the other stuff the tuner does!

you dont have to use a higher grade gas, there are many upgrades that you will get with just an 87 octane tune, which is about as popular as the 93 octane tune. just keep in mind you will only get the FULL performance potential with the 93 tune, and if you think about it, its only 20c more a gallon. thats what, $4 a tank?? to me thats worth it

Just tried emailing him today, got an auto response saying he is in Texas working on restoration projects. He's not sure when he'll be back.

His website will no doubt say when he's back in operation. Just keep an eye on it because I don't think posting here again and again is going to get you the information as fast, really. When he's back, he'll open for business FAST to start catching up and the website should reflect that.

DOUG IS BACK

Got in touch with him today for a tuner I sent to him a few weeks ago. Currently he isn't taking new orders because he's pretty backed up from being away so long. I believe he should be taking new work within a week or so.

Running a higher octane then your truck is programmed for is a bad thing. I don't remember why, but some should hime in shortly

if your gonna run the 87, whether it's mileage, performance, or towing, and your gonna put 89 in there then just run the 89 program. your basically wasting gas money becasue the 87 program is programmed to optimize on 87 gas.

i've been using the 87 mileage for about 2 months now, because 93 isn't worth it at this point, and i've been getting about 215 miles/tank...

Since we have no way of knowing when you refill your "tank" -- how many miles per gallon are you getting.

So many of you talk about "miles" per tank when tanks are different sizes and people fill them at different times! If you would like to inform us, please calculate miles per gallon!
