Product Review and Pics: Must for Rust and Duplicolor Wheel Coating

I first came across this a product called “The Must for Rust” lying in our house and decided to give it a shot on some rusted bolts I had. I didn’t trust it with such a title, but my views changed after letting them soak for about 30 minutes - they looked like new. I’ve since used them on other parts including my steel wheels for the Bronco as shown below. The product works great, and I’d recommend it to anybody looking to get rid of some rust deposits. I cleaned my wheels with the spray and a wire brush on my electric drill.

I tired out a product new to me by Duplicolor called “High Performance Wheel Coating.” I used 3 coats of paint on each wheel and 4 coats of clear coat on each as well. I still have about half a can of each available for any problems down the road if I need them. Drying time between coats was pretty quick, and the paint applies very well to the surface and didn’t run. As far as durability goes, only time will tell.

Don't know of any stores off hand, I found it lying around the garage, probably belonged to the previous owners. Here is the cheapest price I've found on the web @$7.18: http://acmehardware.com/pd-6055974-3...-For-Rust.aspx

Average is usually around $12 and up.
