Rain-x Windshield Treatment

Now its not a ranger product, but ive gotta say the window treatment is PHENOMENAL. Like i drove 20 minutes in this.... with out turning on my wipers more then twice.

dont know how it works, but for the $5.69, ill be doing it to every vehicle i own.

Bought new wipers and added rain x to the washer fluid ten minutes after I drove it off the lot! Works great.

whatttttt sweet, so it is a liquid then? I thought the glass was formed with the chemical woven in chemically so youd never have to reapply

I swear by Rain-X. Don't just put it in your fluid, or use the Rain-X washer fluid, get the stuff you apply on the windshield. Clean the p!ss out of it first, then apply a few coats following the directions. Use the Rain-X washer fluid to keep it up.

I've never tried the Nanotec stuff, but the Rain-X is so good if you put it on right, I can't imagine the Nanotec being worth 5 times the price.

Give the nonatech stuff, time. And it will be as cheap as RainX. RainX has a HUGE advertising campaign behind it, in the tens, if not hundreds of millions... Which translates into cheaper product costs.

I tried some rain x cleaner in my car this winter. Supposed to be the winter blend good to 0. Well it didn't get quite that cold and the stuff jelled and couldn't use the wiper washers till it warmed up some. Works great other times though.

Rain X

It's good stuff. Seeing this again reminds me that I need to RainX my Ranger windshield. Wipers don't work (yet) and RainX needs to be my "backup" till I get wipers working. Big drops And little drops slide right off!

Rain-X

Wash your truck and windshield, dry ( of course ) windex your windows twice (or more) apply Rain-X twice then try a new clean Microfiber cloth. Wa-La, it's like having a brand new truck ! Mikey Likes It ! Catch you on the flip side........Smackhmer

Just another person saying its a must have. Do apply it to your windows. Don't do it in the washer fluid. If you wax it on let it dry and really scrub at it hard to get it off. Your entire windshield will be great. Save the washer fluid for an ice melt spray or bug off spray. They like to smear upwards in rain X.

RainX is great stuff - I use it on all of our vehicles. I view it as a safety feature when driving in rain/snow/sleet/etc.

Welcome skybrew.

It is the best stuff ever. I love watching the water run away. Taking a bucket of water to it after you are done. Watching it just fly off. Amazing and cool.

You guys should look up Crystal Fusion... It is what I use. Supposedly strengthens the glass and I still king of doubt those claims even though my BMW fended off a huge rock I just knew would crash through my windshield when it hit!

But it is more hydrophobic than Rain-X and it cuts night time glare by 50%... For that reason alone it is worth it. Glare and rain are a crappy mix!

I love rain x. But my current ranger had been pretty abused. When I finished the treatment it actually made it harder to see because my windshield had tons of microchips. It looked fine before but once it was polished it looked like my windshield had been sand blasted. I just had a new windsheild installed and ill more than likely treat it.
