SOOO....

Theres a kid in my auto class with a ranger and he likes to talk a big game,
so today he was going on about my inadequate 3.0 so i decided to settle it once and for all, infront of my auto teacher, and 21 students. The only college class to ever stop for this...

Me: 3.0 5-spd 4:10 31Spl Torsen
Him: 4.0 SOHC Auto 4:10 (supposedly LS) 8.8 28Spl



Needless to say, the 3.0 has a little more respect amongst my fellow classmates

and him, seeming like a dumb a$$ prolly had it in drive instead of 1 lol

 

i had him use 1...i was trying to be as fair as possible, his rpm never got high enough to shift though i dont think...even if he was in drive

he sat in class the rest of the day in complete silence with a blank look on his face...
he was stunned by the 3 liters of fury

if your 3.0 could do that cant wait to see what my 2.3 can do, because they are basically the same power wise, and my 2.3 is alot peppier than my old 3.slow...

the tires on your 2.3 have alot smaller contact patch with the road, and you probably arent LS are you?

The continentals suck just period, so thats what would get me Im planning on some meetier tires down the line.

I have 4.10 limited slip, only thing i could see being a disadvantage to is being a reg cab and being a tad lighter as well.
