Loctite bed bolts?

Removing the bed on my '93 supercab to service the fuel pump. Bed bolts were a pain due to an excessive amount of Loctite. I'm guessing from Ford. Thinking about replacing bolts without Loctite for ease of future access. What's the concensus? Is the Loctite necessary or just Ford being overly protective?

I'd say not to put the loctite and in fact I used some anti-seize when I put mine back in.

If you you decided to put loctite back on I would use the weakest form.

I am probably with Alon on this one though. I dont see the need for it. I dont think they will ever come lose.

Thanks for the input. I was actually leaning towards anti-seize to prevent corrosion of the threads but didn't want to jump without some confirmation.

I've pulled several Ranger boxes off over the years and I've never seen or felt any loctite on the bolts. I'm guessing the PO did some work on it and put it on himself. LR
