HELP! Flushed cooling system before realizing I only have DexCool

So yes, this is probably a very stupid question. But honestly I don't know the difference between DexCool and regular antifreeze/coolant, other than the color.

I just finished flushing the entire cooling system and was pleased to see the water change from rusty brown to clear water using a Flush kit connected at the heater core and draining from the top of the radiator.

Now, I go to grab the two bottles of coolant I had on the shelf and they are DexCool.

I'm afraid to even open the lid, since it says "GM Approved" all over both bottles. Do I need to get regular antifreeze/coolant, or is it harmless to use the DexCool?

if its the actual dexcool its only an issue if it gets mixed with regular coolant, it can gel and clog up your cooling system, but since you just flushed your system you should be in the clear. if it were me i would flush it and replace it with the green stuff, but i dont think there will be any damage caused from it being in there.

i would use the prestone "any make any model, any colour stuff" from what i remember, it's not that much more than regular stuff, and it doesn't matter what your car has, had, was supposed to use, will use, or anything else...
