got me an expo axle

as soon as I get it built I will be selling my fx4 L2 axle (31 spline, 8.8)
just wanted to give yall a chance to start saving your money...lol

the expo axle is clean, with a little wire brushing and some paint, it will look like new
in the picture I had started cutting off the shock tabs, they are all the way off now
I got the perches, tabs, cover, ect.. just need the new ring and pinion
hopfully I can afford to get it in the next few weeks

What is the point of putting an expo axle if you already have a level 2 axle?

yup it has 4.10 gear ratio, and the: Zexel Torsen All-gear, torque-sensing differential;
similar to Truetrac but has beefier case, more aggressive teeth, and a higher torque bias so it reacts quicker.

I was thinking around $300-$350 some where in that range
I think it is about $500 just for the lsd (new)
the axle has about 65000 miles on it
Im located in Hobbs NM 88240

Noob, look at where the ring is on the diff cover.

Explorer axles mount over the spring.

Koyn, would you just sell the L2 axle set-up without the Torsen and gears for less?

Also, interested in coming down Sunday for some wheeling?

Looks good! How do you know what's level? Do you figure out the correct pinion angle first with the bottle jack and then go from there?

That little red angle finder sitting on the spring perch is a life saver.

we measured the pinion angle of the one in my truck, sat the expo axle on stands and jacked up the pinion until it was at the same angle
then measured the angle of my spring perches and set the expo perches at that same angle
