I'm going to purchase a super 44 flowmaster muffler and I wondered how much of a sound difference is there between dumping right after muffler and SIDO exhaust? It's a 4.0

 

Dumping it should be louder

 

not always true, dumping will give you some drone and if you get some decent tips that will make it louder, i have side exit with a 3 inch tip thats about 12 inches long but its far louder than when it was dumped......

 

Because dumping under the bed helps
muffle the sound
