I want to get a 98 Ranger. But really like the look of the 08. So is it possible to swap front ends and what kind of price am I looking at?

someone on here has an 01 with 09 stuff on it.

04-11 Header Panel
01-11 Headlights
06-11 Corner Lights
04-11 Hood
06-11 Grille

You can get it all at Certifit for cheap but it will be Taiwanese crap.

Or you can find a wrecked on for cheap and take the shabang.

I think thats only when you swap a pre-98 to a 98+ because you have to do fenders also. He does not have to so.......i think he is good.

it's not going from 97 to 98 that is the problem. i have a 98 hood on my 93 and it bolted right on.

it's when you go 04 and newer. taken from wvcat on one of the other forums:

Here's a couple little things you missed. If you upgrade to 04 or newer the drivers side hood hinge is different. For some reason they mad it backwards and the hood won't line up with your old hinge.

Hmm, just the driver side hinge. Thats interesting. Funny tidbit of info.

@Paul Spickard- are you just running your 90s bumper on there cause something doesn't look right.
