As title states..what would you want it to look like and what options? be kinda cool if we could get this together and try to get ford to build one..i think they would out sell the F-150....but thats MY opinion.............. heres mine

leather seats w/center console
i could live with 2010 style headlight and what not
crew cab with full length bed or short bed
15" 16" 17" wheel options
LeveL II FX4 package
4 wheel disc

I don't think it would ever outsell the F150. The colorado surely doesn't outsell the 1500 nor the Dakota outsell the 1500.

I think they should update the interior to match the F150, update the frontend to match the new fords.

 

Theres no way it would outsell the f150, Ford would price it so high it would be the same price as a entry level 150.

 

well true to that but imagine all the people that want a smaller truck/lil better fuel economy thats loaded out and as much as a entry level f-150? hmmmmmm....lol

well i guess this question needs to be answered then...IF you could buy a loaded out everything under the sun option FX4 LeveL II crew cab ranger FOR the SAME price as a hardly nothing on it xcab (not king) F-150...which one would you buy?

 

I could have got a base F150 for the price I payed for my FX4 but I opted for the more toys on the Ranger. And the Ranger is a bit easier to parallel park...

I think a updated interior (new dash, seats, gauges, etc, etc) with a front end update would be pretty much all it needs.

Honestly I could probably go back to a crew cab ranger with the 3.7 v6. That would be a fun truck

why does the "I could buy a base model 150 for that price" sentence keep coming up?? who the hell wants a base model f150 other than commerical companies.. such a stupid freaking comparison

 

i'd be happy with mine if it was a crew and had the options i have now. the only extra i'd want would be a sunroof.

also maybe with a 4.6 or 4.0 with more torque. either way, i'd want more of a tow rating then what it has now.

Then the usual stuff, power everything.

exactly. i want a ranger with 4 doors. not a sport trac. even this thread is titled .....crew cab US ranger!?

 

here is what i would want...

first off engine and trans combo, turbo 4 bager with a 5 speed for utility trucks-4x4s would need eco v6 with 6speed or new 5.0 with a 5speed auto with od.
current avail cabs AND a crew cab option
better suspenson ie coil overs
stuff like that.. stuff that lacks now...
