First off , please remove the caps key from your keyboard. I dislike being yelled at on here as I get it enough from my wife.
Second , if you are racing your truck , are running full open throttle 99% of the time ,or running boost, that is the only time headers will help.
Put 'em on if you want , for the sound, but be prepared to lose low end torque.

X2 ...

You won't gain a lot of HP from them, and they're more trouble than they're worth IMO.
You'll have to retighten them once a week and they'll burn your spark plug wires up.

I also though about headers, but nah. A few people up here have 'em, and they say that they feel a slight increase in power, but i dont know. It does help sound some.

I have the JBA's w/ the titanium ceramic coating, and I would agree with everything said above...but, I never had to worry about fitment or sealing issues.

I'd like to know the answer to this question too. I've been told you can only take the last cat off and I've been told that you actually loose power by taking the cats off because the engine was tuned with the cats on.

leave the cats on. it doesnt matter if you have emmisions or not it is breaking federal law to remove them. plus you will do nothing but set codes and loss power all you will gain is making your truck louder. so leave them on.

you can get away with removing a cat that is after the last o2 sensor with out throwing a code. thats it.
