Dumb Question

Will a Edge or 4x4 grill fit on a 2003 2wd XLT? or is an insert all i can do? Thanks for the help.

To me it looks different where the grill and hood meets, you might need the Edge hood as well.

Mind you a hood deflector might hide the gap that would be left from the Edge grill.

They have different hoods. the gap could be huge on yours depending on what hood you have. but otherwise, it would swap in.

yes the hoods are different and you can swap them but with an xlt hood and edge grill, it would just be tacky. you would also have to get the surounding of the grill like the part that is around the grill and under the headlights

The whole grille will swap in, and im pretty sure there will not be a gap, atleast nothing major.

Looks like 3/4 of an inch where the hood meets the grill then even above the headlights it would look out of place unless you could fill that gap with a hood deflector, maybe one from an Edge, I can't see how it would differ on the bottom of the hood where you would screw it to.

You'll have to get the grill and the grill surround. and it swaps right in.

Here is my truck with the edge grill and surround and stock hood...note the gap between the hood and the grill:

thanks. yeah i finally got the bumper, but i painted it matte instead of glossy becuase i don't have a good paint booth setup
