Automatic Windows

So, I have the auto function on the drivers side window (momentary push takes it all the way down), but not the passenger. If I wanted to do this on the passenger side, how can I do it? is there some relay on the driver side circuit that is not on the passenger side? or is it something in the window motor?

I really like having this on my side, and it would be nice to make it work on both sides.

I would be interested in this as well. My F150 has it on the driver side only.

I bet you could just find another auto switch and install it.

but is it a function of the switch itself? I guess I could swap the wires around and see if that works. I feel like if it were that simple, they would have just used that switch for both.

and yeah Justin I was hoping to hear from the electrical wizard himself, so hopefully he will chime in as well.

Use this kit:
Amazon Amazon

The reviews aren't good, but it does work if you wire it correctly.

We have a how-to using a Ford module, which is the best option.

Here: Auto Up/Down Window How-To

You need one to add auto down on one side. And then a separate one to add auto up.

I'd like one if ye can find it.

If you want auto up/down on the 2 windows you will need 3 modules.

I have done this mod, its easy and very functional. You also find out how special your passengers are.

What if...
Truck came with no pwr windows.
Added pwr windows with direct power no OEM harness.

I would think these modules should still work ?

P.C.,
Get the part number from the module and the socket.

I guess from what is being said I am going to need four of these things...

New or used, that is the question !

Sorry, i was busy doing this

anyways, i paid 10 a piece and only managed to find 3 in the whole yard. i checked other Ford-made vehicles like towncars and grand marquis that were in the same year range but they didn't have anything.

I felt sketched out getting the one out of this taurus lol

here they are

PN on Black ones:
F2OB-14B118-AB

Blue:
F3AB-14B118-AA

They both seem to be obsolete but are the same exact module as stated in the how-to

I meant NEW or USED… all the same.

Kris’s Truck, OK, thought you had finally got one.
Looks good, I like the EDGE front with the 99 Fogs...
