What spare parts should I bring when I go wheeling

What spare parts should I bring with me when I go wheeling with my ford ranger? What parts you guys think that break a lot when your wheeling.

Just want to make sure I got spare parts when I go wheeling.

Thanks josh

You shouldn't really need anything if you're not doing hardcore trails... Spare tire, air pump, and a flat repair kit should really be all you need. But it you're that worried, bring lots of tools. Anything can be repaired enough to get it off the trails to the road.

No prob. Of all the years I've been wheeling, I've broken nothing on the trails. Are you planning on going hardcore? Or just some easy trails?

may sound moronic, but with all the shutter and jolts off road its always nice to bring an extra set of head light bulbs because Ive broken 2 filaments wheeling and had to replace them before I headed home. Thats a random but necessary one.

jack

spare

strap or two

hi lift

come along and augers (big ones) with a long strong bar to drive it deep

you can never be over prepared. I carry two extra axle shafts for the rear, tie rod, drag link, u joints, u joint/yoke straps, gear oil, tire plug kit (along with a full size spare, they're nice to have), extra driveshaft, two jacks, and lots of zipties. like stated, it really depends on how hard you wheel it. granted I drive a jeep lol. I'd rather have everything that could break and leave me stranded. that way I'm not sitting there wishing I had it when something breaks. it also helps to wheel with another person, in another vehicle.

a box of random bolts. washers, too, so you can use bolts that are too long in those emergency situations. cen definitely come in handy if you lose or break some random bolt and just need one in to go home.

yeah you can get them for pretty cheap at pull-a-parts. I have extra axle shafts from an old axle I had that grenaded the pinion bearing and destroyed the ring and pinion gear. so I bought a used axle and kept the shafts.

I bring tools, a tarp and food/water. Never know if you will get stuck for a while. Tarp can come in handy if you need some shade I've found. I bring a sleeping bag as well. Can't really be over prepared.
