Icon14 What is your favorite penetrating oil?

So what is your favorite penetrating fluid any which ones have you tried? I just made a video on a homemade penetrating fluid that I have found to work the best so I wanted to share. Stuck bolts and breaking bolts is the worst but I havent had any problems since using this!

Let me know what you think! And if you have tried this before!
**Also, if the video was helpful, give it a “thumbs up” on YouTube (it helps me out, thanks)***

So far PB Blaster has served me well. I don't doubt there are better brands out there but its cheap and has done its job for me.

I hear ya. If it works and you like it, then stick with it. I needed/wanted something more powerful and cheaper!

Have you ever tried Kroil or Liquid Wrench or PB blaster? How does it compare to this stuff?

I often use liquid wrench, the other two I do not know of. I'd have to say Liqued wrench and PL-100 are near the same.

Dang. That sounds like Chrysler's own penetrating fluid they use in their shops!

To me, PB is better than WD40 but Kroil is the best.

I will never use anything other than Kroil... All other fail after you use Kroil a couple times.

But for the cheap and just as good use 50/50 mix of acetone and normal powersteering fluid (atf).

MUCH cheaper than kroil and does the same if not better...

I've used PB Blaster and Liquid Wrench for years.

WD40 really isn't a good product to use as a penetrating fluid. I have used it to add additional lubrication to things after applying something else.

A a few years ago I tried the 50/50 Acetone and ATF combination. I think it works quite well. I still use it.

I have never used the other high end brands though.
