body lift and tires
Hey guys I'm new on here, but i know I've seen alot of threads but there all different answers. Anyways im getting a 3" body lift but what size tires can i go with out rubbing on 16s and it is a 2007 xlt 4x4. Thanks in advance
Oh ok. I thought i could go bigger. But even though I'm getting a 3" bl
You could always do the pre-key mod and swap out torsion keys with a 98-06 truck and then swap rear blocks with the same year truck and gain some more height. Top that with a bl and I'm confident you can fit some 285/75/16s, 33" tires.
No clue.. questions about lifts and maximum tire sizes have never been answered before.. I bet nobody knows the answer. It can't be found by doing anything.. even the deepest search couldn't possibly give you any answers.
I don't know about those tire sizes. I suggest you create your own thread so you don't get this one off trac.
You can if you do the pre-key mod and suck. Be prepared to trim your valence by running 33s if don't do it.
Possibly, but my bet is you'd end up trimming. Your truck, your decision.
It's not just about the tire size, it has to do with the backspacing of the rims you put them on. Every set-up is not going to be the same.. it's going to vary based on what you choose to do. Will it fit? Yes.. will it rub? That depends. Are you going to wheel it with that set-up? What rims are you going to use? What backspacing.. research man.. there are others that have run a set-up similar or exactly like what you are considering.. go read a little bit and see if they had any complaints.
