98 2.5l intermittent stalling

Engine cuts out suddenly while driving. If I turn the key back 1 click, it will re-engage and I can continue on my way without a full restart. Seems to happen at both high and low rpm. Hooked it up to a computer diagnostics and when the engine stalls, the diagnostic computer blanks out and resets so I'm not able to view what happens during the stall. But the dash lights remain on. I have replaced: fuel pump, crank position sensor, cam position sensor, ignition switch, cleaned all ground wires I could find and coated with dielectric grease. I just replaced the pcm and it's still stalling. I'm at my wits end!

Which ignition switch? The one with the key, or the one at the lower steering column?

The one under the column, not the metal tumbler that you put your key into.

I really hope you're not saying you turn the key to the LOCK position while driving down the road ?

Sounds like a bad switch. I would do a wiggle test on it...
