Reverse lights not working
Reverse lights not working
I have a 98 ford ranger and the reverse lights aren’t working so far I have switched the bulbs the reverse switch checked the fuse and still no reverse lights any suggestions on what to do next
Get a volt meter and test the wires at the switch
One should have 12volts with key ON
If not then fuse or its wire is bad
If there is 12volts then put trans in Reverse, change meter to OHMs, test the two contacts in the switch, should be 0 OHMS, switch is closed, if not then switch is bad or reverse tab inside transmission is broken
If OHMS are 0 then wire from switch to tail lights is bad follow it
