I got pulled over because my reverse lights are on while i'm driving. They only shut off when I am in park.
I don't understand. It just started doing this. I'm going to pull the bulbs if I can't fix it, but I'm afraid its a short that could lead to something serious.

 

are they on a switch or running off your reverse lights?

 

No... They just started this today.
This truck has serious electrical problems, the gas gauge doesn't work, it shows I have a half a tank or full tank when I know I'm sucking fumes.

Check your door jamb switch. Isn't it when your doors are open your reverse lights come on or something? Or check your neutral safety switch on the side of the transmission.
