Welcome to the forum
Need the exact code number
Should start with a B
The GEM module behind the radio is the Body Computer that runs the Cab electrics, and it would be responsible for setting most B-codes, B stands for Body, P is powertrain, C is chassis

From a Ford site
It basically says that most Rangers got the GEM even though they didn't need it if they didn't have the "Power Group" or 4WD, so can throw the odd B codes because of the missing parts that are NOT really missing, lol, because they were never installed
The CEL(check engine light) should NOT come on because of these B codes, they can be ignored
Its on because of the P0176 Flex Fuel sensor issue
1999 and 2000 Flex Fuel Ranger used these $700 fuel sensors, I assume you have a flex fuel Ranger, 8th digit in VIN is "V"
You can get a Fuel Sensor Replicator($160), and plug it in to the fuel sensor plug in, and it will stop that code from coming up, but you should then run gasoline only, not E85
P1000 is from resetting computer or unhooking battery
It should go away after a few days
Some Ford Ranger trucks without the premium options package built after 4/2/1998 at the Edison and/or Louisville assembly plants may be fitted with GEM modules instead of CTM (Central Timer Modules). This may erroneously produce codes B1302 and B1398 – “Driver Power Window One Touch Window Relay Circuit Failure” when performing diagnostic testing. Note that these codes are NOT actually present on affected vehicles- refer to the relevant technical manual for the correct procedures when dealing with erroneous trouble codes.
