Blower motor fuse blows while shifting into 2nd gear

hello, recently I had the issue with my transmission going into limp mode. Codes on my obd2 reader are all shift solinoids, tcc solinoid, and trans pressure soilinoid, also loss of communication with tcm. It blows the blower motor fuse when i shift into second gear and thats when the problem occurs. Cannot find any bad wiring, and have replaced all transmission sensors. And dumb ideas I may have overlooked would be a great help. Thanks

Welcome to the forum

What year Ranger and what engine?
Assuming automatic, but you said "when I shift to 2nd"
2WD or 4x4?

Electrics can be quite different by year and engine

OK in 2003 Ranger Blower motor fuse is in the engine fuse box and is #16 and 40amp fuse

Solenoid and O2 heater fuse is #41, 20amp also in the engine fuse box

I don't see an electrical connection between these two fuses

So do both fuses blow?

OK found something else

There is fuse #2 in Cab fuse box, 10amp, its the climate control fuse, so blower would quit working if that fuse blew, because Blower Relay wouldn't be turned on
AND................fuse #2 is also for the TCS(transmission control switch), also called OD on/off switch
If that wire was shorting out inside the steering column or shifter arm then fuse would blow and climate control panel would be off line and no blower

This is what the wire looks like in the shifter: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/OgYAA...tv3/s-l400.jpg
One wire has 12volt with key on, other wire runs to computer, if computer gets a momentary 12v it toggles OD on or off, its not an on/off switch, just a momentary switch
So for this to blow the #2 fuse the 12volt wire would have to be shorted to ground momentarily when moving the shift arm, or turning the steering wheel

But no connection to solenoid power in transmission
